Cornerstone CGE was developed and is maintained by Mary E. Burfisher and Karen Thierfelder.

Mary E. Burfisher is Senior Education Advisor to the GTAP Center and a consultant on international trade policy analysis. She is widely recognized for her contributions as a researcher and author in the field of CGE modeling. Her popular textbook, “Introduction to Computable General Equilibrium Models,” has served as an invaluable resource, educating and influencing aspiring modelers across the globe.

Karen Thierfelder is a Professor of Economics at the US Naval Academy, recognized for her expertise in teaching and conducting research utilizing CGE models. Her extensive experience in applying these models to significant public policy discussions has earned her international recognition in the field of CGE modeling.
